Cutting my hair is a big deal

{to me}

In the past, I was forbidden encouraged

to not cut my hair.

Boys like long hair, I get it

but the last time I checked this hair

well it's on my head

therefore

I got it cut

{and more blonde}

and while it may {not} seem like a

huge change to you guys

to me 4 inches IS a very

HUGE deal

It is not me who has a raw throat from screaming and yelling WHO DAT?! last night!!!!

It was not me who just knew my boys would pull it out and become the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!!

It is not me who hopes that every sports commentor in America enjoys eating their words today about how Peyton is the best quaterback!

It is not me who will be leaving The Bayou in three days for much colder {snuggly} weather

It was not me who went Saturday to see my first LSU men's basketball game only to discover that they really kinda suck {sorry Tigers when it comes to basketball I am a Jayhawks fan--Rock Chalk Baby!}

It is not me who has cute new {blonder} {shorter} hair and it is not me who is going back tomorrow to get it even shorter {hehe}

It was not me who waded through slush and mud to have my picture made and it is not me who is completely in LURVE with said pictures and it is not me who has the sweetest, most awesomely talented friend ever!!

Learn Something New Everyday

I like to think that I know myself pretty well,

I mean I have known me longer than anyone

but I have recently learned some new

things about myself

I know

that ya'll are just DYING to know

too, so because I'm sweet I'll share {you're welcome}

• I hate extremely dislike people who are fake

• I can actually live and function without diet coke {who knew?}

• I still believe that love exists

• I am afraid of flying

• even though I am a mom, I don't have all the answers

• even though I am a mom, I am still a woman who needs time away from the people who make me a mom

• boys still make me giggle

talk about {boy do I, but at present it's not a good idea}
